Saute onion and garlic
Add shrimp and saute until pink (Zarrotta prefers the shrimp to keep their tales)
Add two cups of creamy coconut milk and a few spoonfuls of dijon mustard.
Throw in some peas for color and texture
Simmer until just reduced to sauce
garnish with dill and serve as hot as possible

This works great with scallops too…

One of the best wiki sites I’ve found lately is tvtropes.org. This wiki is so extensive and far-reaching…anybody with interest in film, comics, literature, anime, etc should examine it right now.The definition of a trope from this site is below. I have begun listing the tropes most evident tropes in the Crescent Chronicles, I will be adding more as they come to mind, I would also like to develop the conceit that I could invent some of my own…is that even OK for me to say?

Merriam-Webster defines trope as a “figure of speech.” In storytelling, a trope is just that — a conceptual figure of speech, a storytelling shorthand for a concept that the audience will recognize and understand instantly. Those familiar with Stylistics might know of Roland Barthes ‘Codes’ – it’s the same idea here (There’s even a Rags To Riches ‘Code’). According to the Codes theory, a Code/Trope is an attempt to “give meaning to what would otherwise be a series of happenings. They are… constructs and patterns of behaviour.” Above all, a trope is a convention. It can be a plot trick, a setup, a narrative structure, a character type, a linguistic idiom…

The Crescent Chronicles contains examples of the following tropes:

Action Girl

Walking The Earth

Knight Errant

The Lancer

Anti Hero

The Vamp

Heroes Prefer Swords

Katanas Are Just Better

If you don’t know One Piece, then that is very unfortunate, for you….It is by far the best entertainment I have found in a long time. My kids and I are both addicted, bad.
The story is complex and detailed it t a k e s i t s t i m e , even minor characters are developed, and every character is utterly fascinating. It is sad that I haven’t developed Crescent Chronicles in the past months, but after watching One Piece, I am getting some inspiration. If you consider yourself at all interested in comicy, sci-fi, cartoon, adventure, Nippophelia, narrative….then watch it.
If you are already paying attention to web-comics than you probably already do, so why am I telling you?
